COMIC ART ILLUSTRATIONS
Panelling a comic script into sequential art!

WebVoyagers (a.k.a. "Les Adventuriers du Web") is published regularly in 'The Canadian Reader' by LesPlan Educational Services Ltd. The comic provides an ideal springboard into a new unit, an excellent source of non-fiction information about Canada, or just good reading for Canadian students in grades 3 to 5.

Each 3-page story is written by award-winning Canadian children's author, Vivien Bowers, and features siblings Lily, Patrick and Christopher who travel to different locations in Canada by pressing the 'Enter' key on their magic computer. During their adventures, they find out more about a region or place, then return home with a press to the 'Home' key.

Home Lab is a regular feature that I illustrate for both KNOW: The Science Magazine for Curious Kids (ages 6-9) and YES Mag: The The Science Magazine for Adventurous Minds (ages 10-15). Each issue features short projects and experiments using materials that are easily obtained, giving kids lots of opportunities to experiment in a simple and safe way.
